I've been testing this myself for many months (legs, arms) and I have to say the best protocol I've found to do it and get GREAT results is to do it is to do back-to-back treatments (24 hours apart) and then do a Bod-Ex exfoliating over it - amazing smooth and dimple-free (or at least a LOT LESS) skin. I do this and it does work!

-Day One - Bod-Ex and then a Curve full 15-minute treatment
-Day Two - Curve 15-min. treatment

It takes about 24 hours to see optimal results. So you will see instant results, but even better the next day and if you do two b-2-b treatments, it will last even longer.

-Drink LOTS of water

-Do a nice light massage when you apply the body cream

If you have a massage gun or a vibration board, use it right after treatments for a great boost - it helps flush out lymph/toxins right after this treatment.

ARMS: Yes, it works on arms! If you have low to medium "arm droop" (batwings) this will help firm and reduce it (temporarily). Also, you can use it on arm dimples/cellulite to help really smooth arm area. Use it every 3 days to see continued results (cavitation + vibration setting). You can also use one of the red light settings on alternate days to help boost collagen and firm the skin.

*The Curve is not recommended for serious fat loss. If you have a lot of excess fat in any area, this won't give as impressive results. However, if you are generally within your good weight and just experiencing general dimpling/loss of elasticity and firmness (age-related), then this is a great device to help.

DIRECTIONS:

Facial Toning
Use with a conductive gel. Avoid thyroid area. Provides both deep product penetration as well as toning. Excellent for neck/jawline toning. Work in 5-10 minute segments on each side of the face.

DURATION OF TREATMENT:

Curve can be used up to 15 minutes per area of treatment (auto/off after 15 minutes). The treatment can be carried out 2-3 times a week with a day of rest in between. Can be used up to 5 minutes if you want to use daily.

BODY:

Works to treat problem areas and helps to shape the body by working the skin and the tissue.

It is particularly suitable for flaccid, tired skin or cellulite on buttocks, thighs, upper arms, stomach and hips.

Continuous application results in long-term and lasting rejuvenation and tightening of the skin and connective tissue.

Use with a conductive gel. When finished, wipe away or massage in gel and then apply a firming body product for best results!

SETTINGS FOR RADIO FREQUENCY (RF) - Skin Tightening on Face and Body

-Hold the unit horizontal with the screen to the left side buttons on the right when viewing the top of the unit.

-Press the ON (bottom) button once. (You will hear a signal/beep. If you cannot hear anything, the battery is too low.)

-Press the top button twice.

-Press the bottom button twice.

-Press the top button twice.

-The device will mark the time for you and shut off after 15 minutes. To turn off your device, press and hold the power button until you hear a beep and the unit turns off.

SETTINGS FOR ULTRASOUND - Fat Reduction Setting Under the Chin/Jaw and on the Body

-Press the power button 4 times

-Press the select button 2 times

-Screen will display "Grade 03 VIB CV"

-Press and hold the power button to turn the device off.

FACIAL TREATMENT RECOMMENDATIONS FOR THE CURVE

• Begin with clean, dry and lightly exfoliated skin. (You can use a light exfoliator like the NeoGenesis Enzyme Cream Mask or the Goat Milk peel)
• Apply your favorite conductive gel to the neck, jawline, and face. I like the Sculplla "purple gel" Promoter Repair Conductive Gel or the NeoGenesis Glide Gel.
• As with many devices, keeping the skin moist throughout your treatment by misting the skin with water or a hydrating mist will give you the best results and soothing treatment. You can use the NeoGenesis Moisturizing Mist.
• Starting on one side of the face, position THE CURVE on your neck right below the jawline. Applying gentle pressure, glide the device up the face. Pause once you reach the top of your cheek.
• Lift the device and begin the next motion below the jawline. Move along until you have covered that side of your face for 5 minutes.
• Repeat on the other side.

Temples and forehead may also be treated.

Note: Areas with thinner/less skin may feel more sensitive the device treatments vs. working over fleshier areas.

BODY TREATMENT GUIDELINES - THE CURVE

-Start with clean, dry skin. Cleanse to remove any lotions or oils.

-Apply a thin layer of conductive gel on the area to be treated.

-Mist the skin, as needed, to maintain a good glide for the device. YOU MUST MAINTAIN MOISTURE ON THE SKIN FOR BEST RESULTS!

-Set the device

-Massage in small slow circles.

-Treat the body for 10 minutes using the Ultrasound (fat burning/reduction setting) and 10 minutes using the RF (skin tightening) settings. When treating a fat deposit under the chin, work that area with Ultrasound for 5 minutes.

For best results, use the Curve every other day.
– You can use it two to three times per week on each area.

TIPS FOR USING THE CURVE:

• Too much conductive gel can cause a shock effect. If you feel a light shock, remove some of the gel. Use a thin layer of gel and spread evenly over the skin.
• Daily use: You may use the device daily, but only work for 5 minutes (do not do more than 5 minutes).
  
  
• MORE INTENSE LIFTING (Face): Best results are seen if you can wait at least 24 hours between uses. Work the area for at least 5 minutes.

I've been using this tool for a few months now, and I love it.

I've used in on jawline/under chin (great tightening with the RF/LED setting 2x weekly) and used it on my arms. I have to say it is really helping to tone, firm and smooth the skin with lasting results. I am excited to start using on my legs over the next 60-90 days (before warm weather!)

TIPS | FAT REDUCTION

Use on one part of the body for fat reduction, until desired results. Then switch to maintenance (1x weekly)

Then start working on another part of the body (2-3x weekly). Repeat above.
Use a vibration board or massage gun (or manual massage) after treatment for best results. Drink lots of water when doing reduction treatments! See my posts on how to get best results: BODY | JAWLINE

Reason:

Your body can only eliminate/process so much at a time. Allow the reduction period of at least 30 days consistent treatment and then move to another body part. Do not try to do more than one body part per day.

TIPS | RF + LED

You can use this at least 2-3x weekly per area of the body. You can do two areas in a day. For example, jawline and upper arms.

RF/LED treatments can take up to 30 days for visible results.

How to charge THE CURVE

Plug in USB cord to charge. FULL CHARGE = 2.5 hours

BEEPS - Unit will beep when charge is low. It will beep more often as it gets closer to losing the charge completely.

Contraindications

• If you have silver fillings, you may get a metallic taste. While a little odd, this is totally safe.
• If you have metal implants in the jaw we would recommend finding an alternative device for facial treatments. If you do wish to use the MBK Curve, please stay away from the lower area of your face.
• Do not use over braces.
• It is fine to use The Curve if you have fillers. Many people find that fillers last longer because of these treatments. Wait at least 10 days before using The Curve after injections.
